World Missions
God’s Great Commission to us is to go out to the whole world and preach the good news. This means sharing the Gospel with everyone from our neighbours and friends down the street to tribal communities in Africa and orphans in Romania. Our church family is encouraged to be part of that great commission by sharing God’s love with those we come in contact in our daily lives as well as in the support of world-wide evangelism.

We are blessed to have several worldwide missionaries who grew up in our church and still consider Zion their home, but are serving the Lord overseas, in the United States, and in Canada. We financially support both our own missionaries and other missionaries who we have come to know and love.  We also send short term work teams to help when and where needed.  We uphold all our missionaries regularly in prayer and with financial support. Many of our youth have felt the Lord’s tug on their hearts to become involved in missions both on a local level and abroad. Either as a group or as an individual, they reach out, stretch their boundaries, and serve Him in missions. We have taken great joy in supporting financially and prayerfully, our youth on mission trips to everywhere from the streets of local communities to other countries.  Some of the places youth have gone to over the years include the following: Mexico, Romania, Australia, Poland, Panama and the Czech Republic.

As we learn to love God and follow His ways, our natural response should be to go and love the people around us. We strive to equip every believer as a minister of Christ to share the heart of God to the heart of the world
